Why We’re Canvassing

The purpose of our outreach will be to engage and organize Nashvillians directly impacted by housing unaffordability, criminalization, and a lack of authentic community safety.

These outreach efforts are an integral part of our ongoing Housing & Safety for All campaign and are designed to build our collective power to improve life for everyday working class Nashvillians.

All delegations are led by trained canvassers and volunteers canvass in pairs.

Script / talking points provided.

Each canvassing session will be approximately 2.5 hours long and will include:

  • A brief training at the beginning
  • 2 hours canvassing (door to door or event canvassing) in pairs
  • A brief debrief with other canvassers and organizers after canvassing
  • Swag!
